71 years on and still discovering the innovative spirit that drove Harry and Rene Chandler to found Travel Club of Upminster in 1936 lives on. Their son Paul Chandler now runs the company and constantly researches new hotels, apartments and resorts to add to the portfolio. Paul\'s life long history with Travel Club Of Upminster has given him a rare and enviable mixture of experience, knowledge and respect throughout the industry and he is one of the first people to hear about new developments. Of course most do not come up to his exacting standards, but every year, one or two new ideas fit the bill.
