| The four-star, 45-room Belavista is a pretty pink gem of a hotel built on a hill, just 1km from the beach. Considerately designed as a horseshoe so every guest has a view of the two lovely pools and colourful gardens, the hotel is exceptional in many ways. |
| The attention to detail and care invested by the owners, Deric and Vicente, is second to none. Guests feel special, indeed spoilt, by the wide selection of diversions on tap for when sunbathing gets a little tiring! Such distractions include a well-equipped gym and a health club. Snooker, pool, darts and bridge challenges take place in the games room and guests can relax and have a drink in the small lounge or on the outside terraces. And for gastronomic delights try the romantic candlelit restaurant. You can easily explore the western Algarve from here, with its quaint villages, markets and profusion of plant life. Deric is always happy to take guests walking, whilst Vicente is equally delighted to organise fishing trips. The rooms are as you would expect in a four-star hotel, with tea and coffee making facilities and the thoughtful addition of a fridge to keep your water ice cool and about 12 UK channels on the TV to keep children entertained. The hotel has excellent disabled access so less mobile guests can enjoy everything on offer with equal ease. |
