Compared to the rest of Spain\'s southern coast, the Costa de la Luz has less commercial activities for children, most fun occurring on or around the region\'s amazing beaches.
Horse Riding - For horse lovers who like the idea of riding through spectacular landscapes of rural Spain, a riding tour of the area is a great way to explore the region. A particularly good riding stable is found in nearby El Rocio offering both lessons and tours.
Water sports – Some beaches along the local coastline offer a range of water sports including windsurfing, water skiing and, for younger children, pedaloes and inflatables.
Jeep Safari – Take to the water with a trip along the Guadiana River, the fantastic natural border between Spain and Portugal. A typical Algarvean lunch is followed by jeep safari through the nature reserve of Sapal de Castro Marim and the wonders of the Algarvean mountain range Sierra de Aracena, soaking up the dramatic landscaping and sampling local seasonal fruit. |
