| The traditional Portuguese village of Acoteias is situated 8km to the east of lively Albufeira. It's a laid back type of place, in fact the ideal spot to undwind and relax.
The resort's best feature is undoubtedly the stunning 6km long golden sandy beach of Praia Falesia, set beneath the reddish sandstone pine topped cliffs.
Nightlife is low key and there is a good selection of traditional Portuguese restaurants and bars where a warm welcome is guaranteed. There is a 9 hole golf course and for those looking for more nightlife, Albufeira is easily accessible. |
