Sant Tomas, on the south coast of Menorca is home to Travel Club of Upminster’s beachside accommodation of self-catering apartments, villas and hotel. Sant Tomas is a perfect resort for families and couples with pretty views and a superb sandy beach sloping gently into the sea. The accommodation is modern and spacious, with plenty of restaurants, shops and bars nearby to cater for all needs.
This relatively young resort has a few hotels and bright white, low-rise apartments with pools on both sides of the central avenue. There is an attractive beachfront walkway running the length of the resort – popular for evening strolls. Just back from the shoreline are a few residential roads where Travel Club of Upminster has its three comfortable villas.
The two beaches are long and sandy – safe for children and perfect for swimming and sunbathing or spending an hour or so enjoying the views from a pedalo. Four kilometres inland is the pretty village of Es Migjorn Gran, with a further choice of restaurants and bars, supermarkets, a chemist and a hairdresser.
