| If you are looking for something a little quieter and smaller than Port de Pollença, why not try the picturesque headland of Cala de Sant Vicenç, just 6km north east of Pollença. The drive into Cala de Sant Vicenç is delightful as you descend the valley into the lovely village with its two little sandy beaches. |
| The clear shimmering water is a tempting turquoise green and very shallow at the centre of the beach, yet deeper by the rocks which are good for diving off. The beautiful, sheltered bays are set against a background of the terraced foothills and dramatic limestone formations of the mountains - a very special scene. The village is home to some good restaurants and shops. Cala de Sant Vicenç, with its secluded setting, certainly is a picturesque, romantic getaway. Transfer time from Palma Airport: 50 minutes. |
