| About 2 kms along the coast from delightful Deià is the 40 bedroom Costa d’Or hotel. Set high in the hills the hotel is in an exceptional location with breathtaking views of the cerulean sea. A mix of old and new buildings, the hotel is built in traditional Mallorcan farmhouse style – the original building was constructed in 1932.
The large swimming pool area with its sun terrace and sun-loungers is a genuinely gorgeous setting, with waiters serving you drinks whilst you absorb nature at its most impressive. A 20 minute walk takes you down to a small cala for swimming – allow longer for the climb back up! |
Eating at the hotel is a delight, either inside or on the terrace overlooking the sea. For relaxation, try the inside bar as well. Hotel facilities include tennis, a gym, bike rental and a small children’s play area. Rooms are beautifully decorated with great attention to detail, air-conditioned, with satellite TV, telephone and safety box.
