| The recently modernised and air-conditioned 67-room Hotel Daina is located in the heart of Port de Pollença, on the tree-lined pedestrian promenade, overlooking the bay and marina. An attractive, light and airy hotel, tastefully decorated in blue and white with modern art and furniture, the Daina is a very convenient and friendly place to stay. The salt-water pool and sun terrace form an interesting feature - actually jutting out into the sea - so hotel guests have their own private terrace built on the beach. The ground floor bar and lounge open on to the outside terrace bar which serves snacks from 10am until 2.45pm and drinks from 9am until the bar closes in the evening. The first floor restaurant, serving buffet-style meals, has lovely views of the bay. For the more energetic, the hotel stages dancing to live music twice a week. |
