| The famous Pine Walk promenade is lined with open-air cafés and restaurants where you can savour the local specialities such as ensaimada, frito mallorquin, tumbet, paella and sucking pig, whilst gazing at the translucent turquoise water, watching the bustling world go by. Unlike many holiday destinations, Port de Pollença has something to offer everybody looking for a lively or relaxing holiday - families and couples, whatever your tastes and expectations. You can take a boat trip to Formentor beach, hire bicycles to explore country lanes, walk over to Cala de Sant Vicenç, play golf at the nine hole Pollença Golf Club, sail, windsurf and go horse riding. Or just relax, sunbathe and swim in your hotel or apartment pool or the warm, clear blue sea. Port de Pollença is a lively town full of shops, fine restaurants, bars and one or two discos, yet sports a leisurely style.
