| Just north of Corfu Town (Kerkyra), Kontokali is a peaceful green peninsula looking south towards Venetian fortresses and north across the lagoon to the international yacht marina. In every direction there are contrasting yet typical views of Corfu island and the area is famous for its fresh fish tavernas. A short walk away is the lively town of Gouvia, known for its nightlife.
