A small, family owned-business, we offer a carefully selected range of apartments, villas and small hotels in some of the best locations in the-Mediterranean, Southern Portugal and Spain’s Southern Atlantic coastline. Founded in 1936 by Harry and Rene Chandler, Travel Club of Upminster is now run by their son Paul Chandler-whose long history with the company and wealth of experience bring knowledge and security to the business.-

A sense of value - our prices

Families have always been especially welcome at Travel Club of Upminster and you will find that our terms for-children are unusually generous. Every child under 12 and most teenagers receive a discount, the extent of which-depends upon the type of accommodation booked.We believe that these terms are unique in the travel industry.-

Also our prices are based on realistic assumptions about how many people will occupy our self-catering-accommodation. Other companies will quote a price based on four people staying in a one-bedroom apartment. For us-the base line is two people in a one-bedroom apartment and three in a two-bedroom apartment. This means that any-child or teenager staying in the fourth bed will get a 50% discount. And in some of our larger one-bedroom-accommodation a family of four can benefit from two youngsters at half price. In villas our terms are equally-favourable - any child under 12 who does not benefit from 50% off, receives a 10% discount. In hotels, where space-allows, children under 12 sharing a room with two adults receive a 30% reduction on the basic brochure price.-

Importantly, child and teenage discounts apply throughout the year including the high season and school holidays.-All our customers can look forward to great value from our holidays as we are a small and cost efficient family firm-dealing directly with you, the customer.-

Travel Club of Upminster accommodation combines the best of locations with high standards. Generally situated-in the quieter parts of the resort, our properties are mostly run by the families who own them, offering guests a-personal and caring service. All have been selected for the quality of their rooms, cleanliness, service and value for-money. Most have a pool and air conditioning as standard.-

Villas and apartments are cleaned and serviced during your stay, so guests can make the most of the opportunity-to relax.-
