We thought we would introduce a couple of new areas which
enjoy a mild climate all year round.
The long time favourite Costa del Sol
is easily accessible and offers something for everyone, beaches, fantastic golf
courses and some of the best shops and an almost infinite choice of bars and
restaurants.
Plenty of flights year round makes Tenerife
just as popular in the winter as it is in the summer. This island is a personal favourite of
Simonne’s who can wax lyrical about its attractive scenery, wonderful shopping and varied
culture all day long.
Club Marbella – Costa del Sol
Just 1km from the beach in the small family resort of
Calahonda. A wide selection of shops,
bars and restaurants are all within walking distance. This is the largest of the Crown resorts and
is undoubtedly the hub of all activity, especially with its new spa and leisure
centre. Heated outdoor and indoor
swimming pools, childrens pool, pool bar (summer only), cafe Marbella bar and restaurant, lounge, mini-market,
games room, evening entertainment, kids club and childrens play area, boules
court and car park. New spa and leisure
centre also has hydro spa, saunas, fitness area, squash court and hair and
beauty salon. Two bedroom apartments
sleep 6 and have fully equipped kitchen, two bathrooms (most units), ceiling
fans (bedrooms), satellite TV, terrace (most units) and hairdryer. Mid week
clean and linen change.
Club Deltamar – Costa del Sol
Also part of the Crown Resorts located in the Riviera del
Sol area within walking distance of the beach, shops, bars and
restaurants. A great feature of this
accommodation is the large and friendly clubhouse which is the hub for all
activities and entertainment. 2 Swimming
pools (1 heated), childrens pool, poolside bar and cafe (summer only),
extensive attractive gardens, guest lounge with internet point, evening
entertainment (summer only), kids club (summer only) and childrens play area,
basketball shooting range, fitness area, multi us sand pitch, boules court and
car park.
Two bedrooms sleep 6 all with fully equipped kitchen with
washing machine, microwave, iron and ironing board, ceiling fans (bedrooms)
satellite TV, terrace (most units) and hairdryer. Mid week clean and linen change.
Crown Resorts
Guests staying at any Crown Resort have use of all other
Crown Resort’s facilities, clubs, activities and entertainment. There is a mini bus to all Crown Resorts,
shops and the beach.
Colina del Paraiso – Benahavis, Costa
del Sol
Colina del Paraiso offers newly built luxury apartments,
townhouses and penthouses. Set on a
hillside in El Paraiso, 10 minutes drive west of Puerto Banus, 15 minutes drive
from the centre of Benahavis famous for its fabulous gourmet restaurants.
Colina del Paraiso is the perfect place to relax and
unwind and for the more energetic there are 3 swimming pools set in terraced
gardens, tennis, practise driving range, paddle tennis and a fully equipped
gym. All accommodations sleep 6 with a
minimum of 2 bathrooms, all are equipped down to the last detail. Townhouse have private Jacuzzi. Penthouses have a private plunge pool.
Hotel Paradise Park
– Los Cristianos, Tenerife
Set on an hillside in the fishing town of Los Cristianos,
the 4* Paradise Park is a popular modern hotel, independently owned and offering
a traditional warm welcome to regular and new visitors alike.
5 Swimming pools and a childrens pool, Tenerife buffet
style restaurant with show cooking, lounge bar with entertainment, Atlante A la
Carte restaurant, buffet style Strelitzia restaurant with show cooking,
library, childrens playground, childrens club (peak season), poolside snack bar
(at the main pool and also the Atlante pools) and daytime entertainment.
Room facilities include air conditioning/heating,
hairdryer, safe, fridge/minibar, satellite TV, balcony or terrace. Daily maid service.
